Returns & Refunds Policy

FoilMarket is a marketplace that connects buyers with verified European sellers. Every order is paid through Stripe and protected by FoilMarket Buyer Protection. If something is wrong with your order, you are covered — read on for exactly what's included and how to request a refund or return.
What Buyer Protection covers
You are entitled to a refund (and a return where applicable) in the following cases:
- Item not received — if your item doesn't arrive within 14 days (EU) or 21 days (international), open a dispute and we'll investigate with the seller.
- Item not as described — if the card's condition doesn't match the listing (e.g. listed as Near Mint but arrives Played), open a dispute within 14 days of delivery.
- Counterfeit — if you receive a counterfeit card, you are entitled to a full refund, and the seller's account is suspended.
Your EU consumer rights
FoilMarket hosts both private and commercial sellers, and your statutory return rights depend on which you buy from. Each listing indicates the seller type.
- Commercial / Pro sellers — comply with the EU 14-day right of withdrawal: you may return an item within 14 days of delivery for any reason.
- Private (non-commercial) sellers — under EU consumer law, private sellers are not required to accept change-of-mind returns. Buyer Protection (above) still applies to every order.
What is not covered
- Buyer's remorse (you changed your mind) — except where the 14-day withdrawal right applies to a commercial seller.
- Price changes after purchase.
- Minor condition disagreements within a single grade (e.g. "I think it's NM, not LP").
- Loss in transit of a lower-value order shipped by untracked economy letter where tracking was not added — this lowest-cost tier has no tracking, so delivery can't be proven.
How to request a return or refund
- Contact the seller via Messages — most issues are resolved with a quick conversation.
- Open a dispute — if you can't resolve it directly, email disputes@foilmarket.eu with your username, the listing ID, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable. Open within 14 days of delivery for "not as described" claims.
- Mediation — our team reviews the case within 48 hours and proposes a resolution, requesting more information from either party if needed.
- Resolution — possible outcomes are a full refund, a partial refund, a return & refund, or the case being dismissed. Both parties are notified of the decision.
Refunds & return shipping
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days of the resolution.
- Where a return is required because the item was not as described, counterfeit, or otherwise the seller's responsibility, the buyer is not left out of pocket for return postage — return arrangements are confirmed as part of the resolution.
- For 14-day withdrawal returns from commercial sellers, return shipping terms are set out in that seller's listing.
