Mega Darkrai ex leads the Mega Evolution Series into the abyss.
Mega Evolution—Pitch Black is the fifth main expansion of the Mega Evolution Series, headlined by Mega Darkrai ex with Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex and Mega Excadrill ex close behind. Drawing on the Mega Dimension DLC of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, it runs to more than 115 cards — including over 20 Trainers and 35-plus special illustrations of both Pokémon and Trainers.
Chase hunters will find 6 Special Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares and 11 Illustration Rares across the set. Pitch Black is the English counterpart of Japan's Abyss Eye and is Standard-legal from launch.
Prerelease events run 4–12 July, with a Pokémon TCG Live release on 16 July and shelves on 17 July 2026.
